Ar 27 Ebrill 2018 bu I Gyngor Sir Ddinbych gyflwyno Hysbysiad Brys ynglyn a'r briffordd uchod. Mae angen ymestyn cyfnod yr hysbysiad am 7 diwrnod arall ac yna cyflwyno Gorchymyn Dros Dro llawn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd neu gerbyd a llwyth dros 10 tunnel! rhag defnyddio'r hyd hwnnw o'r B5435 Nantglyn yn Sir Ddinbych sy'n ymestyn tua 330 metr o'i chyffordd gyda Chyffordd Melin Segrwyd i Nantglyn yn y de ddwyrain am bellter o tua 45 metr.
Mae angen cyflwyno'r cyfyngiad pwyso er diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd bod y bont yn beryglus.
Mae'r llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau ar y B4501 Ffordd Peniel o Cefn i gyffordd y B5435, Derwen Gomel i gyffordd Melin Segrwyd a chyffordd Melin Segrwyd i Nantglyn.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 24 Mai 201 8, a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis, neu nes bydd y tebygolrwydd o berygl wedi diflannu, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith bara 18 mis.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(2)
TEMPORARY WEIGHT RESTRICTION ORDER
AT B5435 NANTGLYN
On 27th April 2018, Denbighshire County Council issued an Emergency Notice in respect of the above highway, which it has been found necessary to extend by a further 7 days followed by a full Temporary Order, which prohibits any vehicle or vehicle and load the gross weight of which exceeds 10 tonnes from using that length of B5435 Nantglyn in the County or Denbigh which extends approximately 330 metres from its junction with Segrwyd Mill Junction to Nantglyn in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres.
The reason for the restriction is to facilitate public safety due to an unsafe bridge.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B4501 Peniel Road from Cefn to junction B5435, Derwen Gomel to Segrwyd Mill junction, and Segrwyd Mill junction to Nantglyn
The Order comes into force on 24th May 2018, and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the likelihood of danger is removed whichever is the earlier. The anticipated duration of the works is likely to last for 18 months.
