NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Westage Lane, Great Budworth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, due to badger activity.
Prohibition of traffic - Westage Lane Great Budworth - from Budworth Road Junction to Heath Lane Junction The alternative route will be via Westage Lane, Budworth Road, Budworth Heath Lane, Knutsford Road, Belmont Road, Heath Lane and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day This order will come into operation on Friday 11 May 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 30 September 2018.
