The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Brunswick Street, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Brunswick Street from its junction with Dale street to its junction with Stout street.

The closure is necessary for the following reason: To install 90mm connection

The Order will come into force on 20th May 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22nd May 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Whalley Banks and Dale Street

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
