The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen (Sudellside Street, Darwen) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018
NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with ?arwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close Sudellside Street at its junction with Vernon Street for a distance of approximately 16 metres. The closure is neccessary for the following reason: Manhole Frame and Cover Replacement The Order will come into force on 23rd April 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th April 2018. The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Sudell Road, Kay Street, Atlas Road, Sudellside Street
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians
will be maintained at all times.
