(Footpath 3 & 5, Cold Norton and Footpath 11, Purleigh)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following length of Footpath 3 & 5, Cold Norton and Footpath 11, Purleigh in the District of Maldon:
Road Description
Footpath 3, From its junction with Flambirds Chase, east for Cold Norton a distance of approximately 575 metres up to the
parish boundary where it becomes Footpath 13,
Purleigh.
Footpath 11, From its junction with Flambirds Chase, south for Purleigh/ a distance of approximately 1620 metres up to
Footpath 5, where it becomes Footpath 4, Stow Maries. Cold Norton
The alternative route for the above footpath closures will be via: Hackmans Lane, Flambirds Chase, Footpath 3, Stow Maries, Footpath 19, Stow Maries and vice versa.
The temporary closure are scheduled to commence on 20 May 2018, 21 July 2018 and 22nd July 2018 between the hours of 09:00h and 18:00h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public while the Fly-in and Air Display at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is undertaken. The Orders will come into effect on 20 May 2018 and may continue in force 6 months or until the event have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 10 May 2018

(Slough Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Slough Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Hackmans Lane for a distance of approximately 1676m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th May 2018 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBQG0VGT01 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Marlpits Road, Burnham Road, Oak Corner, Southend Road, Maldon Road - B1418, Hyde Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 3rd May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Burnham Road, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnham Road, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Rectory Road to its junction with Green Lane, a distance of approximately 1676m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2246290 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Burnham Road, Steeple Road, Maldon road, The Street, Bradwell Road, Steeple Road, Bradwell Road, Maldon road, Bradwell Road, North Street, South Street, Southminster Road, Tillingham Road, Cripplegate, North End, North
Street, High Street, Pantile Hill, Queen Street, Scotts Hill,
Southminster Road, Main Road, Burnham Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 3rd May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
