Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, intend, under its relevant
powers, to make the following Order : U70245,
Rock Farm Lane, Lea , Temporary Road Closure
Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles
on the U70245, Rock Farm Lane, Lea, from the
junction of the A40 to Rock Farm Lane. Grid Ref:
365891 / 221881. The alternative route for those
affected by the proposal is via the U70244 onto the
A40 onto Rock Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation
of a new HV cable supplying Squires Meadow
housing development works and the likelihood of
danger to the public while the works are taking
place. The said closure will come into force on 4th
of June 2018 and remain in force for a maximum
period of 18 months (unless extended with the
consent of the Secretary of State) but the works
are expected to be completed within 5 days.
