(C2071 Abberley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2071 Abberley from
its junction with C2276 The Village to its junction with
Reynolds Lane in order to facilitate BT Openreach works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Reynolds Lane, C2276 Abberley,
C2276 The Village and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
7 days Commencing: 14 May 2018.
(B4550 Rainbow Hill, Worcester)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of B4550 Rainbow Hill
from its junction with U51037 Kenilworth Close for
a distance of 173 metres in a southerly direction in order
to facilitate works to replace damaged guttering
to underside of Railway Bridge by Network Rail.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Bevere Lane, Bevere, Worcester)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Bevere Lane,
Bevere, Worcester from its junction with A449
Ombersley Road to its junction with Bevere Green
in order to facilitate works to repair a heritage wall.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Bevere Green, Northwick Road,
Green Lane, A449 Ombersley Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
10 weeks Commencing: 4 June 2018.
(U51026 Vauxhall Street & U51025 Church Road,
Worcester)(Temporary Closure & Temporary
Suspension of One Way) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of U51026 Vauxhall
Street & U51025 Church Road, Worcester in two
sections:-
(a) U51026 Vauxhall Street – from its junction with
B4550 Astwood Road to its junction with U51025
Church Road in a north westerly direction.
(b) U51025 Church Road – from its junction with
U51026 Vauxhall Road to its junction with U51025
Mayfield Toad in an easterly direction.
The Order will temporarily suspend the Worcestershire
County Council (Church Road and Vauxhall Street,
Worcester)(One-Way Traffic) Order 2017 insofar as it
relates to Church Road and Vauxhall Street for the
duration of the works and will allow traffic to proceed
in both directions.
The Order is being made to facilitate footway
reconstruction and kerb replacement works.
Alternative routes – Vauxhall Street: B4550 Astwood
Road, U51025 Church Road and vice versa. Church Road:
U51024 Mayfield Road, U51000 Green Lane and B4550
Astwood Road.
Maximum duration: 18 months Anticipated duration:
10 days: Commencing: 11 June 2018
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and
Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011
(Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting on
Sabrina Avenue, Northwick Road and Northwick
Avenue, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making
an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting
at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads
in Worcester:
Sabrina Avenue (north and south sides) from its
junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 13 metres
in a westerly direction; (east and west sides) from
its junction with Northwick Avenue crossroads for
a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and
10 metres in a southerly direction. Northwick Road
(west side) from its junction with Sabrina Avenue for a
distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction and
10 metres in a southerly direction. Northwick Avenue
(both sides) from its junction with Sabrina Avenue
crossroads for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly
direction; (north side) from its junction with Sabrina
Avenue crossroads for a distance of 13.5 metres in an
easterly direction; (south side) from its junction with
Sabrina Avenue crossroads for a distance of 10 metres
in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain
exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes
and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. A copy
of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of
Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be
inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service
Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester,
WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester,
WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/
representations you may have must be sent in writing
to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@
worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 7 June 2018.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and
Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011
(Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting on
Merrimans’s Walk and Lansdowne Road, Worcester]
On 26 April 2018 Worcestershire County Council made
an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting
at any time on the following lengths and side of road in
Worcester:
Merriman’s Walk (east side) from its junction with
Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10.3 metres in a
northerly direction; (west side) from its junction with
Lansdowne Road for a distance of 10.6 metres in a
northerly direction. Lansdowne Road (north side) from
its junction with Merriman’s Walk for a distance of
11.5 metres in an easterly direction and 9 metres in a
westerly direction.
Impose Resident/Visitor Permit Holders Only Parking
– Lansdowne Road
(north side) from a point 9 metres west of its junction
with Merriman’s Walk for a distance of 23.8 metres in a
westerly direction; from a point 31.8 metres west of its
junction with Merriman’s Walk for a distance of
21 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain
exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes
and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 17 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of
Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at
Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The
Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and
County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP
during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order
or this exercise of them may be questioned by
application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the
date on which the Order was made.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and
Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011
(Variation) Order 2018 [Disabled Persons’ Parking
Place on Westmount Close, Worcester]
On 26 April 2018 Worcestershire County Council made
an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled
persons’ parking place on the following length and side
of road in Worcester:-
Westmount Close (south side) from the further most
western highway limit boundary for a distance of
2.7 metres in an easterly direction; the length of the
space will be 6.6 metres.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain
exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes
and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 17 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement
of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected
at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The
Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and
County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP
