Temporary Traffic Management Order of Colliton Street, Dorchester
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The effect of this Order is to impose a temporary road closure from its junction with North Square for a distance of 180 metres in a westerly direction. A temporary two way system will also be in place as indicated by signs on site for the duration of these works at the western end of Colliton Street to allow access for residents.
These restrictions will commence on 15 May 2018 and will be in place until 18 June 2018, and will apply between 0930 and 1600, weekdays only. However, the restrictions will be determined by signs on site as and when the works require during the stated times.
This order will enable Callidus Group safe access to carry out demolition works to part of the rear of the Museum building and muck away of materials by truck from Colliton Street.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed when closure is in place using; High West Street - The Grove - Northernhay - Glyde Path Road

Temporary Closure of Chalk Pit Lane, Litton Cheney
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHALK PIT LANE, LITTON CHENEY from its junction with White Way, a distance of approximately 885 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 14th May 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20th July 2018. This order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to lay a new water
main in the highway.

Temporary Closure of St Georges Road, Dorchester
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along ST GEORGES ROAD, DORCHESTER from its junction with Eddison Avenue, for a distance of approximately 100 metres in an easterly direction. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 29th May 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6th July 2018.
This order will enable Mildren Construction, safe access to carry out works associated with the link road from Lubbecke Way to St Georges Road along with the Stopping Up works on St Georges Road.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; St Georges Road -B3143 Kings Road - Lubbecke Way - continuation onto new link road which joins back up with St Georges Road just before St Georges Close

Temporary Closure of Lovelands, Corscombe
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along LOVELANDS, CORSCOMBE close to Ryewater Farm, a distance of approximately 20 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 14 May 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25 May 2018.
This order will enable Dorset County Council, safe access to rebuild embankment with gabions, replace gully with grip and carry out general repairs and maintenance to culvert and deck soffit.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Ryewater Lane - C132 - A356 - Hackney - Lovelands
