Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Station Street, Bromsgrove)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of Station Street, Bromsgrove from its junction with Ednall Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Ednall Lane, B4184 New Road, B4184 High Street and B4184 Worcester Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 15 May 2018.
(C2033 Weston Hall Road, Stoke Prior)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of C2030 Weston Hall Road, Stoke Prior from its junction with C2204 Shaw Lane for a distance of 320 metres in an easterly direction in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2204 Shaw Lane, B4091 Hanbury Road, C2033 Weston Hall Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
14 May 2018.
(U20216 Hockley Brook Lane and U20217 Link Road, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of U20216 Hockley Brook Lane and U20217 Link Road, Belbroughton in two phases:-
(a) U20216 Hockley Brook Lane - from its junction with U20217 Link Road for a distance of 54 metres in a south easterly direction.
(b) U20217 Link Road - from its junction with U20216 Hockley Brook Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is being made to facilitate the installation of new electricity and water connections by Severn Trent and Western Power Distribution. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2062 Dordale Road, and U20216 Hockley Brook Lane.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:
4 June 2018.
(C2176 Dusthouse Lane, Finstall)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2176 Dusthouse Lane, Finstall from its junction with C2177 Upper Gambolds Lane to its junction with Grimley Lane in order to facilitate edging works on carriageway.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2176 Dusthouse Lane, C2176 Curtis Close, B4184 Alcester Road, B4184 Finstall Road, C2176 St Godwalds Road, C2176 Dusthouse Lane, and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days Commencing:
4 June 2018.
(Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting on Fairfield Road, Dodford Road and Claypits Lane, Bournheath] On 26 April 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads
in Bournheath:
Fairfield Road (west side) from its junction with Dodford Road for a distance of 19 metres in a northerly direction. Dodford Road (both sides) from its junction with Fairfield Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. Claypits Lane(north
side) from its junction with Fairfield Road for a distance of 13 metres in an easterly direction; (south side) from its junction with Fairfield Road for a distance of 21 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 10 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside,
Market Street, Bromsgrove, Worcs., B61 8DA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road,
Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2018 [Residents and Visitor Permit Holders Only Parking on The Crescent, Bromsgrove]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose residents and visitor permit holders only parking on the following lengths of road in Bromsgrove:-
The Crescent (east side) from a point 13 metres south of its junction with New Road for a distance of 27 metres in a southerly direction; from a point 47.5 metres south of its junction with New Road for a distance of 14.5 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Bromsgrove District Council, Customer Service Centre, Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove, Worcs., B61 8DA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
