LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON DISABLED PARKING PLACE AND WAITING RESTRICTION AMENDMENTS
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 2018; and
(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.
2. The principal objectives of the Orders are; (1) to introduce disabled bays to provide a parking facility for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and revoke those parking bays that are no longer required; (2) to ensure that the Orders match conditions as they exist out on site.
3. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) provide new disabled person's parking places, 6.6 metres In length, In which vehicles displaying a disabled person's badge may park at any time, at the following locatlons:-
(I) Abbotsleigh Road, Sutton - the south side, opposite No. 17; (Ii) Beechmore Gardens, Sutton - the south-east side, outside Nos.
21 -23 & 25-27 (adjacent to the existing disabled person's parking
place at this location); (IN) Oxford Road, Wallington - the south-west side, outside No. 10;
and
(Iv) Stanton Close, Worcester Park - the south-east side, at the side of No. 74 Clarkes Avenue.
(b) revoke existing disabled persons parking places at the following locations:-
(I) Camborne Road, Sutton - the north side, outside Lorraine Court, Nos. 32-34;
Note: only one of the two disabled person's parking places at this location would be removed being the one nearest to the vehicular entrance to Lorraine Court
(Ii) Constance Road, Sutton - the east side, outside Nos. 51-53; (Iii) Demesne Road, Wallington - the east side, outside Nos. 56-58; (Iv) Hartland Road, Morden - the south-east side, outside No. 7 and
reinstate a footway parking bay at this location; (v) Tilehurst Road, Cheam - the north-west side, outside no. 33; (vl) The Holt, Wallington - the west side, outside No. 19; and
(c) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to the Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to the Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 so as to more accurately represent the existing layout to match conditions as they exist on site.
Note: there will be no change to the restrictions as currently marked and signed on-street as a result of this amendment
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders (and of the Orders that would be revoked or amended by the proposed Orders) and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday to Friday.
5. 6. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton has authorised the reinstatement of uncontrolled parking partly on the footway, so authorised by resolution made by the Council under section 15(4) of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 19742, at the location of the revoked disabled persons parking place in Hartland Road referred to in item No. (b)(iv) above and Washington Road, Worcester Park referred to In Item 3(c)(8) of the Public Notice titled "Waiting and Loading Restriction and Disabled Parking Place Amendments" dated 8th February 20183.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NORMAN ROAD, SUTTON
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that In order to facilitate gas main replacement works and because works are being executed on or near the carriageway It intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised In paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 29 May 2018, with works expected to take 6 weeks to complete working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm and Saturday 9.00am to 3.00pm. However the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily:-
prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering Norman Road from its junction with Gander Green Lane (making this part of Norman Road No Entry);
an alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Gander Green Lane and Tate Road.
introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' on both sides between No's. 75 and 85 Norman Road; and
any vehicle that is In contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

an alternative route for pedestrians will be via St James Avenue, St James Road and Western Road.
4. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that In order to facilitate gas main replacement works and because the works are being executed on or near the carriageway it made an Order the effect of which Is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 8 May 2018, with works expected to take 5 months to complete working Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm. However the Order will remain in force for 10 months to be re-Introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily:-
prohibit all vehicular traffic in:-
Beddington Gardens;
(a) between Its eastern junction with Boundary Road and Holmwood Gardens;
(b) (southern arm) at its western junction with Boundary Road; and
(c) (northern arm) at Its western junction with Boundary Road;
Grosvenor Avenue at its junction with Park Lane;
Grosvenor Road at its junction with Park Lane;
Holmwood Gardens at Its junction with Stanley Park Road; and
Park Hill Road at its junction with Stanley Park Road.
Introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' (including suspension of parking bays) on both sides of the road in:-
Beddington Gardens;
(a) between No. 29 and its junction with Boundary Road;
(b) (southern arm) between No. 95 and its junction with Boundary Road; and
(c) (northern arm) between No. 72 and its junction with Boundary Road;
Boundary Road, between No. 63 and its junction with Park Lane; > Grosvenor Avenue, between No. 6 and its junction with Park
Lane;
Grosvenor Road, between No. 50 and its junction with Park Lane;
Holmwood Gardens, between No. 2 and its junction with Stanley Park Road;
Park Hill Road, between No. 4 and its junction with Stanley Park Road;
Park Lane, Carshalton between No. 23 and its junction with Boundary Road;
Shotfield, between the entrance of Cloverdale Court and its junction with Stanley Park Road;
Stanley Park Road, between No. 29 and its junction with Woodcote Road; and
Woodcote Road between Beech House and No. 118.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic whilst the road closures are in force will be for:-
Beddington Gardens eastbound, via Boundary Road, Stanley Park Road, Holmwood Gardens and vice versa;
Beddington Gardens westbound, via Boundary Road, Beddington Gardens and vice versa;
Grosvenor Avenue, via Park Lane, Carshalton, Woodstock Road, Ashcombe Road, Park Avenue and vice versa;
Grosvenor Road via Park Lane, Carshalton, Springfield Road, Taylor Road and vice versa;
Holmwood Gardens via Stanley Park Road eastbound, Woodcote Road, Beddington Gardens; and via Stanley Park Road westbound, Boundary Road and Beddington Gardens.
Park Hill Road, via Stanley Park Road, Woodcote Road, Hawthorn Road and vice versa.
Please note that not all of the closures, restrictions and diversions will take place at the same time.
5. Any vehicle that is In contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time When these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
