Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1122 From C1120 To Wellington Crossing, Marden, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use
by vehicles on the C1122 From C1120 To Wellington
Crossing, Marden, from either side of Laystone Bridge. Grid Ref: 351803 / 247675. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1120 onto the A49 onto the C1122 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to carry out routine inspection and maintenance to Laystone Bridge works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of May 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
