PROPOSED CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE CECIL ROAD AREA
The Croydon (West Thornton) (Parking Places) (No.1) Traffic Order 2018 The Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No.5) Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 30 April 2018 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce a new Controlled Parking Zone into the roads listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice:-

(a) introduce 8 hour 'pay and display/permit' parking bays operating from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturdays;

(b) introduce or extend existing 'At any time' waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice; all remaining 'At any time' waiting restrictions will remain unchanged;

(c) introduce 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions outside parking bay areas;

(d) existing disabled bays that apply will remain;

(e) revoke the existing footway parking bays in Aurelia Road;

(f) charges for pay and display parking in the bays will vary from 20p for 30 minutes to £3.20 for 8 hours (maximum);

(g) residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice may apply for parking permits. Current permit charges are £80 for the first resident's permit, £126 for the second permit and £305 for the third and final permit. A maximum of two permits per business can be purchased at £382 per permit.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 08,n May 2018, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice that it proposes to make the London Borough of Croydon Poplar Walk Stopping Up Order [No 1, 2018] under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of Poplar Walk, Croydon
