(Coggeshall Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coggeshall Road, Feering in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 529m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th May 2018 for 1 night (followed by overnight on 12th May 19th May and 26th May each for 1 night, all works to take place between 22:00 and 06:00) or where stated on a valid permit (KL136LTN1-42-79-070418B - Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while brickwork repair works are undertaken by Network Rail. An alternative route clockwise is available via: Coggeshall Road, Feering Road, East Street, Colchester Road, A120 Coggeshall Road, A120 Marks Tey Roundabout, A120 Marks Tey Interchange, A120 Prince of Wales Roundabout, London Road, A12 Southbound, A12 Junction 24 Off Slip, B1024 London Road. An alternative route anti-clockwise is available via: B1024 London Road, A12 Northbound, A12 J25 Off Slip, A120 Marks Tey Roundabout, A120 Coggeshall Road, Coggeshall Road, Feering Road, East Street, Colchester Road. The Order will come into effect on 20th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
