(Station Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 202m northwest of its junction with De Vere Road for a distance of approximately 68m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153893303 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Halstead Road, Stonebridge Hill, Parley Beams, Colchester Road, Langley Mill Road, Elms Hall Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 20th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Braintree Road, Gosfield) (Temporary 30mph Speed limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Braintree Road, Gosfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Petersfield Lane for a distance of approximately 860m in a southwesterly direction (current speed limit is 60mph). The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2018 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2242793 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order came into effect on 20th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
