LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(ESHTON TERRACE, CLITHEROE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (2) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council Intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.

1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle, cycle or pedestrian to proceed over that length of Eshton Terrace, Clitheroe for a distance of 20 metres either direction of the bridge.

2. The prohibition will be operative daily from 00:05 hours until 07:00 hours between Sunday 29th April 2018 and Sunday 6th May 2018 or until completion of the works within this period.

3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-

Anti-clockwise (East-west):
Woone Lane - (B6478) Moor Lane - (B6243) Parson Lane (1-way then 2-way sections) -(B6243) Bawdlands - Thorn Street - Corporation Street
Clockwise (West-east):
Corporation Street - Thorn Street - (B6243) Bawdlands, (B6243) Parson Lane (2-way section) - Station Road - Rail View Road - (B6478) Waddington Road - (B6478) Well Terrace -(A671) Waterloo Road - (B6478) Queensway -(A671) Whalley Road - Greenacre Street
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow bridge examination works to be carried out.
