Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1165, Old Church Road, Colwall , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1165, Old Church Road, Colwall, between Stone Drive and Hedgebank. Grid Ref: 375389 / 242838. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Mill Lane onto the B4218 onto the C1162 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of May 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
