WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcementofcontraventions ofwaitingprohibitionsandrestrictions)and will contain exemptionstoallowparking/accessfor certain purposes and limited waiting bydisabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 3 May 2018. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive,Sawmill Walk, The Butts,Worcester,WR1 3PB,and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Various Roads) Martley, Martley Hillside and
Ankerdine Hill (30 Mph Speed Limit and 40mph Speed Limit) (Consolidation) Order 2018
On 12 April 2018Worcestershire CountyCouncil made an Order the effect of which will be to update and consolidate the 40 mph speed limit the speed limit on the following length of roads:
Martley Hillside: B4197 from a point 52 metres south of its junction with C2243 Horn Lane in southerly direction toapoint181 metresnorth ofitsjunction with B4204.
Martley: B4197 from apoint100metres south westof its junction with C64628 Jury Lane in a southerly direction to a point 68m north of its junction with footpath MT-682 UC64619 Kingswood Lane for its entire length.
Berrow Green to Knightwick (Ankerdine Hill): B4197 from its junction with A44 to a point110metres south of its junction with UC64618 Horsham Lane.

And further to update and consolidate the following
30 mph limits:
Martley Hillside: B4197 from a point 52 metres south of its junction with C2243 Horn Lane to a point 192m north ofbridlewayMT-511. C2243 Horn Lane from its junction with B4197 for a distance of 209 metres in a north easterly direction. UC64607 Pudford Lane - from its junction with B4197 for a distance of60metres in a westerly direction.
Martley: B4197 from apoint100metres south westof its junction with UC64628 Jury Lane in a north easterly then northerlydirection to apoint181 metres north of its junction with B4204. B4204 from apoint187 metres east of its junction with UC6408 (Bailers Lane) in a westerlydirection toapoint79metresnorth westofits junction with B4197. C2252 Hopehouse Lane from its junction with B4204 in a southerly then south easterly direction to apoint41 metressouth eastofits junction with UC64617 (Lower Hollins Lane). UC64617 Lower Hollins Lane from its junction with C2252 (Hopehouse Lane) in awesterlydirection to apoint88 metres south west of its junction with UC64620 (St Peters Drive). UC64620 St Peters Drive for its entire length. UC64621 Nash Close for its entire length. UC64623 Mortlake Drive for its entire length. UC64624 Vernon Close for its entire length. UC64625 SandpitsClose for itsentire length. UC64627 St Peters Drive (second section) for its entire length. UC64628 Jury Lane for its entire length. UC64630 HastingsClose for its entire length. Berrow Green: B4197 from a point 68m north of its junction with footpath MT-682 southwards to a point 110m south of UC64618 (Horsham). There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 5 May 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, The Library, Graham Road, Malvern, WR14 2HU, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath AK-537 Alfrick)(Temporary Closure Order) 2018

Proposed Order: to close Footpath AK-537 Alfrick for its entire length.
The Order is being made to facilitate re-development works of the land.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2233; C2065 and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 21 May 2018.
(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Restriction of Waiting on Lowell Street, Worcester]
On 12 April 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order theeffectofwhich will betoprohibitwaiting at any time on the following lengths and side ofroad in Worcester:
Lowell Street (east side) from its junction with Southfield Street and Westbury Street for a distance of 11.9 metres in a north westerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Southfield Streetand Westbury Streetfor a distance of12 metres in a north westerly direction. Revoke restriction of waiting Monday - Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm (east side) from a point 4.8 metres north west of its junction with Southfield Street and Westbury Street for a distance of7.1 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 3 May 2018. Cornmeadow Lane (south east side) from a point183 metres south west of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction; from apoint255.5 metressouth westofitsjunction with Claines Lane for a distance of 25.5 metres in a south westerly direction.
Revoke prohibition of waiting at any timefrom apoint 48.5 metres south westofits junction with Claines Lane for adistance of5 metres in asouth westerlydirection; from apoint132.5 metressouth westofitsjunction with Claines Lane for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction.
