ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984-SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A49 TRUNK ROAD (NEAR MARLBROOK, HEREFORDSHIRE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an Order on the A49 Trunk Road near Marlbrook, in the District of the County of Herefordshire to allow resurfacing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to -
(1) impose a 40 miles per hour speed restriction on the A49 -
a. between points 360 metres south and 50 metres south of its roundabout junction with the B4361 (known as Marlbrook Roundabout), south of Marlbrook; and
b. between points 100 metres north and 600 metres north of its junction with Marlbrook Roundabout;
(2) impose a 10 miles per hour speed restriction on the A49 between points 50 metres south and 100 metres north of Marlbrook Roundabout, including the circulatory carriageway of Marlbrook Roundabout, when signs indicating "convoy working" are displayed; and
(3) prohibit vehicles from entering or leaving Marlbrook Roundabout, at its junction with the B4361.
The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 14 May 2018 and continue for four nights. The Order will come into force on 11 May 2018.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions and prohibition. Vehicles being used for special forces purposes will be exempt from the speed restrictions and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the prohibition. THE M50 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 2) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the M50 Motorway, at Bromesberrow, in the County of Gloucestershire, to allow resurfacing, lining works, inspections, maintenance and repair works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close, at different times, any slip road leading to or from the M50 at Junction 2.
The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Monday 14 May 2018 and continue for eleven nights. The Order will come into force on 11 May 2018.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority, ambulance or traffic officer purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M50 will be signed.
