AVENUE ROAD N14 & COWPER GARDENS N14 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate vehicle movements on Avenue Road N14 and Cowper Gardens N14, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Avenue Road N14 and Cowper Gardens N14) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2018 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from waiting, loading or unloading on;

i) Avenue Road N14 on its south-western side between No.56 and its junction with Beardow Grove N14 and;

ii) Cowper Gardens N14 on the eastern side between its junction with The Fairway N14 and the side of No.117 Cowper Gardens and;

iii) Cowper Gardens N14 on the western side for approximately 55 meters south from the side of No.48 Cowper Gardens N14, in the London Borough of Enfield as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works persons or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services personnel.

4.) The prohibitions would come into operation on 26th April 2018 and would continue in force for 18 months or until such time as the works have been completed.
