BLOSSOM LANE EN2 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential crane works on Blossom Lane EN2, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Blossom Lane EN2) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2018 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to;

(i) prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on Blossom Lane EN2, for approximately 50 metres from its junction with Lavender Hill EN2, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 17:30 and;

(ii) prohibit traffic from parking, waiting, loading and unloading on Blossom Lane EN2 on both the eastern and western sides from the existing restrictions for approximately 50 metres, Monday to Friday at any time, in the London Borough o1 Enfield as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 26 April 2018 and would continue in force for 48 weeks or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions remain in force, the diversion route would be via; Lavender Hill EN2, Brigadier Hill EN2, Cedar Road EN2 & vice versa;

or Lavender Hill EN2, Lavender Gardens EN2, Cedar Road EN2 & vice versa. Dated 18 April 2018
