THE A405 TRUNK ROAD (M1 JUNCTION 6) TEMPORARYOVERNIGHT NO RIGHT-TURNS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A405 Trunk Road, in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works areproposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closureof-
(a) the dedicated right turnfacility from the northbound carriageway of the A405 towards the southbound M1; and


(b) the dedicated right turnfacility from the southbound carriageway of the A405 towards the northbound M1;


at M1 Junction 6(A405).
These measures would be in the interests of road safety to enable
contractors to undertake cyclical maintenance works.
It is expected that the work would take place for approximately 1-2
1-2
nights for each restriction every 2months at the following times:
Monday-Thursday nights 22:00-05:30


Friday nights 23:00-06:00


Saturday nights 22:00-06:00


Sunday nights 22:30-05:30


The Order would come into force on 4May 2018 andhave amaximum duration of twelve months.
During the closures outlined above, traffic affected would be diverted via other junctions on the A405. The diversion route would vary depending on the closureinplace.
The right-turnprohibitions and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works periods.

M25 MOTORWAYJJUNCTIONS 17 TO 22) TEMPORARYTRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works areproposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to:-
1. authorise the overnight closureof-


(a) the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between Junction 20 (A41) and Junction 22 (A1081), and all slip/link roads leading to and from this length;
(b)the slip roads leading to and from the anti-clockwise carriageway
of the M25 at Junction 18 (A404); and (c) the slip road leading from the clockwise carriageway of the M25
at Junction 19 (A41).
2. Impose an overnight 50mph speed limit on both carriageways of the M25 between Junction 17 (A405) and Junction 19 (A41), and all slip roads leading to and from this length of carriageway.


These measures areinthe interests of road safety while contractors undertake carriageway works, bridge maintenance, inspections and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 4months starting on or after Monday 23rdApril 2018. The overnight closures will take place between (maximum period): Monday-Thursdays 22:00-05:30


Fridays 23:00 -06:00


Saturdays 22:00 -06:00


Sundays 22:30 -05:30


The Order will come into force on 21 April 2018 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted via other junctions of the
M25 or by using the M1, A41, A405, A414, and the A1081. The diversion
route will vary depending on the closureinplace.
The temporary speed limits, closures and diversion routes will be clearly
indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.
