Notice is hereby given that the following applications for
planning permission have been made to Watford Borough
Council.
Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application,
plans and other documents submitted with it during normal
office hours at:- The Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor,
Town Hall Watford WD17 3EX.
Alternatively the application can be viewed online using
the reference number below at http://pa.watford.gov.uk/
publicaccess/
Under the provisions of the Local Government Access to
Information Act 1985, any comments can only be taken
into account if they are available for public inspection
before the application is decided.
Any person who wishes to make representations about
this application should do so in writing to the Head of
Development Management, Town Hall, Watford within
21 days of the date of this notice.
Reason for Advertising - Listed Building
18/00358/LBC – 73-75 High Street, Watford. Replacement
of 2 no. existing glazed steel roof lanterns. Undertake
repairs and refurbishment of external facades including
repairs to windows, flashings, soakers, flat roof finishes
and parapets. Dispose off site and install 1Nr new dark
grey UPVC mushroom vent to match existing size and
profile. Undertake repairs to stonework as per works
schedule (attached with planning & listed building
application) Replace coping stones to flat roof 3, 5 and 6
with once weathered 300mm wide coping stones to match
existing. Prepare and redecorate all previously painted
masonry to the external elevations with 3 coats of Keim
Royalan by Keim Mineral Paints (all as per attached works
schedule). Remove and replace flashbands to Cupola
Dome and undertake sympathetic repairs to eroded stone
facings. Applicant – HSBC Corporate Real Estate, UK
