ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (HAYDOCK LANE, ST HELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 12th day of April, 2018, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles to proceed along Haydock Lane, at its' junctions (North and South) with the A580 East Lancashire Road. The closures will not be in effect concurrently, and the appropriate diversion route will be as indicated by road signs on-site, as necessitated by the phasing of the works. Pedestrian access will not be affected. The Order will come into force on Friday 13th April, 2018, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be three months.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate
the Section 278 works relating to the new
Florida Farm development.
