PUBLIC NOTICE SECTION 14(1)(a) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
TEMPORARY NO WAITING AND NO LOADING RESTRICTIONS -KINGSLEY ROAD AND SCARSDALE ROAD THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Management order under the provisions of Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991. This is to allow for articulated vehicles to reach a School with a temporary classroom.

1. This order may be cited as The Harrow (Kingsley Road and Scarsdale Road) Temporary Traffic Order 2018, and shall be operational from 1st May 2018 and shall remain in effect until 30th December 2018 or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is anticipated that all works should be complete by 4th May 2018.

2. Vehicles would be prohibited from waiting and loading on Kingsley Road and Scarsdale Road between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs Monday - Friday;

between a point opposite the south-western flank North side wall of No. 103 Kingsley Road and its junction with Scarsdale Road between a point opposite the common boundary South side
of Nos. 97 and 99 Kingsley Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 127 and
_1129 Kingsley Road._
129 Kingsley Road._
Scarsdale Road_
|between a point opposite the north-western
East side extended kerb-line of Northolt Road and a point opposite the southern flank wall of No. 50
Scarsdale Road;_ between a point opposite the north-western West side extended kerb-line of Northolt Road and a point 24.00 metres south-east of that point._

3. Nothing in paragraph 2 as above shall apply fa­ta) any vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police

purposes in an emergency;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) any person who causes any vehicle to proceed in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed pursuant to Section 66 or Section 67 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984;

(d) any vehicles used for the articulated vehicles to reach a School with a temporary classroom.

4. The provisions of the order shall not have effect unless all the signs in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are displayed, removed or covered, or unless at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.
