NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 28th March 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 16th April 2018. The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend the waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce free parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) relocate the existing resident permit bays on the south west side of Walwyn Avenue, Bromley (outside Nos. 2 to 18), to the north east side, and replace with Monday to Saturday 8.30am-6.30pm waiting restrictions;
(d) remove 7.6m of At Any Time waiting restrictions outside Nos. 54 8 56 Elmers End Road, Penge to accommodate new bus cage markings;
(e) reduce the Monday to Saturday 8.30am-6.30pm waiting restrictions on both sides of Lancaster Close, Shortlands (at Its Junction with Durham Avenue) by 7m;
(f) amend the existing permit holder bays outside Nos. 21-27, 43-45, 69-75 and 40-84 Nightingale Lane, Bromley to half on the carriageway and half on the footway.
A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.
ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
