ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure May Road, Twickenham (Reference 18/078)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water pipe replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in May Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in May Road, Twickenham between its junctions with Colne Road and Gravel Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 17 April 2018. The restrictions will be in force at from 08.00 on 17 April 2018 until 18.00 on 18 April 2018 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Colne Road, Mereway Road and Gould Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6 Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility connections they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Milton Road, Hampton.

3. The order will come into effect on 23 April 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 23 April 2018 until 18 May 2018 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Tudor Road.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to obstructive parking they will introduce a waiting restriction in Mary's Terrace, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Mary's Terrace from a point outside the south-western boundary of No 16 Mary's Terrace south-westwards to a point outside the rear of the south-western extremity of the of the garages to the rear of the Travelodge Hotel.
3. The Order came force on 2 April 2018 and continues ion force the provisions of a Notice made under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will remain in force at all times from 2 April 2018 for a maximum period of 18 months.
4. Nothing in this Order will apply to:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
