The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed I Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 03/05/2018 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) The Street, Marston Meysey; from its junction with Fairford Lane in a northerly direction to the county boundary, including eastern spur track, to enable Gigaclear to undertake fibre installation work to properties. Alternative route via Fairford Road - The Street (Latton) - Down Ampney Road - The Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 8 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 30 May 2018. (b) North Street (Part), Calne; from its junction with Dixon Way to its junction with Bryans Close Road to enable Atkins to undertake construction work for traffic calming features. Alternative route via Bryans Close Road - Bishop Road - Dixon Way and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 8 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 25 May 2018. (c) Church Street, Great Bedwyn; from its junction with Crofton Road to its junction with Brook Street to enable Tarmac to undertake for carriageway reconstruction works including road marking, ironworks and associated works. Alternative route via Wilton Brail - Dodsdown - Windmill Lane - A338 - Oxenwood Road - Jockey Green - Brook Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 8 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.00 and 15.00 until 18 May 2018. (d) Common Slip, Chippenham; from its junction with The Butts for its entire length to enable Wessex Water to install sewer level monitoring equipment in manhole. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.30 and 12.30. (e) Windsor Close, Chippenham; from its junction with Queens Crescent for its entire length to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. (f) A4 (Part), Chippenham and Calne Without; from its junction with A342 Old Derry Hill to its junction with London Road to enable Tarmac to carry out full width carriageway reconstruction with associated works including road markings and ironworks. Alternative route via A4 (unaffected length) - B4643 -Melksham Road - B4528 Showell - A350 - A3102 - A342 and vice versa.  This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 until 27 April 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
(g) B4192 (Part), Aldbourne and Ramsbury; from its junction with Farm Lane to its junction with Marridge Hill, Preston to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via B4192 (unaffected length) -Liddington Crossroads - Foxhill - Baydon Road - Ermin Street - B4001 Straight Soley - Chilton Foliat - B4192 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order, which previously came into operation on 15 March 2018, will now recommence on 19 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. (h) A342 Nursteed Road (Part), Devizes; from its junction with A361 to its junction with Windsor Drive to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and maintenance works. Alternative route via Windsor Drive - A361 and vice versa. This Order, which previously came into operation on 23 February 2018, will now recommence on 19 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two nights between the hours of 19.00 and midnight. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions.
