Notice of Confirmation of Modification Order Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 - The Definitive Map and Statement for Bradford and Melksham Rural District Council Area Dated 1952 - The Wiltshire Council (Parish of Holt) Path no. 73 Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2016
On 22 March 2018, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed as made the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The above Order, made on 5 July 2016 modifies the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a footpath leading from OSGR ST8573-6171, at its junction with Leigh Road, Holt, in a south-westerly direction for approx 6m and then west-south-west for approx 59m, to the rear of properties in Leigh Road, before leading generally north-west for approx 90m to OSGR ST8559-6174, at its junction with Footpath 31 Holt, having a width varying between 0.85m and 2m on that section between OSGR
ST8573-6171 and OSGR ST8566-6169 and 1.6m on that section between OSGR ST8566-6169 and
ST8559-6174. A copy of the Order and map may be seen free of charge at the Rights of Way and Countryside, Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, BA14 0XA from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies may be bought there for £5. The Order becomes operative as from 22 March 2018, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question the validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may within 42 days from 13 April 2018 make an application under paragraph 12(1)
of Schedule 15 of the 1981 Act, to the High Court. 13 April 2018.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) C180 Allington (Part), Chippenham Without; from a point adjacent to the property "Stonehayes" for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out standard connection works. Alternative route via C180 Allington (unaffected length) - Broad Lane - A420 Bristol Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 8 May 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 10 May 2018. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) Newtown (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Wine Street for a distance of approximately 100m in a north-easterly direction to enable BT Openreach to undertake works to install new fibre cable to existing BT Chambers. Alternative route via Newtown (unaffected length) - A363 Masons Lane - B3108 Winsley Road - C391 Winsley Road/Bradford Road - C230 Turleigh Hill/Turleigh - C230 Belcombe Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one night between the hours of 21.00 and 06.00. For further information please contact A-Plant Lux (on behalf of BT Openreach) on 03700500792; (c) West Street, Trowbridge; from its junction with A366 Wingfield Road to its junction with Gloucester Road to enable Wessex Water to undertake separation works. Alternative route via Gloucester Road - Stallard Street - Wingfield Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 18 April 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of some of the works. The
Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
