OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (ABINGDON AIR AND COUNTRY SHOW)(TEMPORARYTRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2018 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Date of Order 16 April 2018; In force 6 May 2018 This order is being introduced in the interest of public safety for the Abingdon Air and Country Show to be held on Sunday 6 May 2018 at Dalton Barracks (Abingdon Airfield) and is promoted by Neil Porter, 45 Eagles, Faringdon, SN7 7DT. The effect of the order is to close roads and implement.

No Waiting between 7am and 6pm as follows: Honeybottom Lane, from Church Lane junction to approximately 300 metres east of the junction with Green Lane (to gated entrance to the airfield); Blackhorse Lane for its entire length -Cothill to Gozzards Ford; Green Lane public Byway, from Honeybottom Lane to the junction of Church Lane & Lashford Lane.

Also No Waiting on Faringdon Road, west of the entrance to the Black Horse PH to the junction with Barrow Road.
Exemptions are included for emergency services, for property access and for VIP/Exhibitor/Staff who will be allowed access to enter the air field northwest gate.

The alternative routes for traffic as follows: Diversion for Honeybottom Lane via Lamborough Hill, Besselsleigh Road, Lashford Lane, Church Lane; Diversion for Green Lane Byway via Honeybottom Lane and Church Lane; Diversion for Blackhorse Lane via Cothill Road & Faringdon Road.
