Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as
highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make
the following Order : C1301 Glowson Wood To Hill Cottage
Crossroads, Much Marcle, Temporary Road Closure Order,
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1301
Glowson Wood To Hill Cottage Crossroads, Much Marcle:
a) from the junction of the U67419 & U70011 east to the
junction of theU67421. Grid Ref:363288/232934.
b) from the junction of the U67419 & U70011 north to
Firs Farm. Grid Ref:363234/ 233321.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is
via the C1262 onto the C1294 onto the C1295 onto the
C1301 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to Installation of new
ducts to install telecoms cables works and the likelihood of
danger to the public while the works are taking place. The
said closure will come into force on 14th of May 2018 and
remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless
extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but
the works are expected to be completed within 3 days. Any
