Rossendala Borough Council Report of Local Government Ombudsman
The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has issued a Further Report following an investigation of a complaint against Rossendale Borough Council. The complaint was about an Environmental Services and Public Protection and Regulation matter. The Ombudsman found that there had been fault on the part of the Council, and this had caused injustice to the complainant. The Council must consider the Further Report and tell the Ombudsman within three months (or such longer period as may be agreed) what it proposes to do. Copies of the report will be available for public inspection during normal office hours at The One Stop Shop, Futures Park, Bacup OL13 OBB for three weeks starting on 29th March 2018. Anyone is entitled to take copies of the report or extracts from it. Copies will be supplied at a reasonable charge.
