Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Didcot, Unnamed Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 April 2018 Coming into force: 23 April 2018 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works which are anticipated to take 1 month to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the unnamed South Moreton road from its junction with the A4130 Hadden Hill southwards to Fulscot railway bridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A4130 Hadden Hill, Long Wittenham Road, High Street, Dunsomer Hill, Sands Road and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref JaC/T5454)

Abingdon, Victoria Road, Letcombe Avenue,
Wootton Road and Boxhill Walk Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 30 April 2018 Coming into force: 7 May 2018 This Order is being introduced because of Gas mains replacement works which are anticipated to take 4 months to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding and/or waiting in the lengths of Victoria Road (south of Park Road), Letcombe Avenue (close to Bath Street) Wootton Road (north of Boxhill Walk and south of Northcourt Road) and Boxhill Walk (at the junction with Wootton Road). Anticipated dates:
Victoria Road 7 May - 8 June (Road Closure and No Waiting)
Letcombe Avenue 11 June - 24 June (Road Closure)
Wootton Road and Boxhill Junction 16 July - 3 September (Road Closure).
Appropriate traffic signs are displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force.

The alternative routes for traffic affected by the closures will be signed accordingly.
