Wychavon District Council Public Path Diversion Order 2018

Footpaths 505,506 And 589 Whittington, Worcestershire
The above Order was made on 29 March 2018
The effect of the Order will be to DIVERT the following Footpaths
namely: That length and the whole width of Public Footpath 505 that commences at Point A (OS map reference 388158 254021) and runs across open land in a south-easterly direction for approximately 39 metres to Point B (OS map reference 388193 254006) where it meets Public Footpath 506. That length and the whole width of the Public Footpath 506 that commences at Point B (OS map reference 388193 254006) and runs across open land in a south-easterly direction for approximately 38 metres to Point C (OS map reference 388228 253990) where it meets Public Footpath 589. That length and the whole width of Public Footpath 589 that commences at Point C (OS map reference 388228 253990) and runs across open land in an east-south-easterly direction for approximately 70 metres to Point D (OS map Reference 388297 253976) and then continues south-easterly for 68 metres to Point E (OS map reference 388359 253950) where it meets the perimeter fence of the M5 motorway.
Such Footpaths are shown by a solid black line on the Order Plan and being approximately 215 metres in length.
AND CREATE a new footpath running from from Point F (OS map reference 388193 254020) along new pavement in a southeasterly direction for 13 metres to Point G (OS map reference 388203 254013) and then south-south-easterly for 24 metres to Point H (OS map reference 388216 253993) where it turns gently east-south-easterly and continues for 72 metres to Point I (OS map reference 388288 253990) from where it continues across open land in a south-easterly direction for 75 metres to Point J (OS map reference 388363 253978) where it will meet a new bridleway running north to south, all as shown on the Order Plan. Such footpath is shown by solid black dashes on the Plan and shall be 2 metres in width and will be approximately 184 metres in length.

A copy of the Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at the Civic Centre at the address below or at the Droitwich Community Contact Centre, The Library, Victoria Square, Droitwich Worcs., WR9 8DQ during normal office hours.

Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be bought there at a price of £2.00.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to The Head of Legal Services, Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT (ref. Legal/PMH/FP1.52) not later than 14 May 2018. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Wychavon District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
