Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1199 Ruckhall Lane, Eaton Bishop, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1199 Ruckhall Lane between Brookside and Vallets Farm OS Grid Ref: 345215 / 238896. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A465 onto the B4352 onto the C1199 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new data sensor and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st May 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
