Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, intend, under its relevant
powers, to make the following Order : C1017
From Crifton Ford Bridge To Junction With C1016,
Blackbridge Leintwardine , Temporary Road Closure
Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on
the C1017 From Crifton Ford Bridge To Junction With
C1016, Blackbridge Leintwardine, outside Clifton Ford
Bridge for approximately 100m east. Grid Ref: 342069
/ 272048. The alternative route for those affected by
the proposal is via the C1014 onto the A4113 and
vice versa.
The said closure is required due to safe access to
locate and remove a blockage in an existing duct and
the likelihood of danger to the public while the works
are taking place. The said closure will come into
force on 30th of April 2018 and remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with
the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works
are expected to be completed within 3 days. Any
