Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 16 A-C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the Corbeau Seats Motor Rally Tendring & Clacton 2018. Effect of the orders:
1. To temporarily close the following roads in the District of Tendring (Team HQ Stage will commence from mid-day 12:00 Friday 20th April to 23:59 Sunday 22nd April 2018 and the restrictions for Stages 1 to 15 are scheduled to commence on Sunday 22nd April 2018 between the hours of 00:01h to 23:59h):
2. To introduce a temporary one way restriction on the following length of Mill Lane, Bradfield in the District of Tendring (commences on Sunday 22nd April 2018 between the hours of 00:01h to 23:59h):

The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads listed under bullet point 3 only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restrictions for Team HQ Stage will commence from mid-day 12:00 Friday 20th April to 23:59 Sunday 22nd April 2018 and the restrictions for Stages 1 to 15 are scheduled to commence on Sunday 22nd April 2018 between the hours of 00:01h to 23:59h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required to facilitate the Corbeau Seats Motor Rally Tendring & Clacton 2018 event.
The alternative route for Team HQ Stage will be via Coan Avenue, Kings Road, Freeland Road and Tower Road and vice versa. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times during the closure. Pedestrian access to residential properties on or adjacent to the road will be permitted at safe intervals and will be escorted by marshalls on site.
The Orders will come into effect on 20th and 22nd April 2018 and may continue in force for 3 days unless extended by the Secretary
of State.

(Harwich Road, Mistley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harwich Road, Mistley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Stourview Road to its junction with Heath Road, a distance of approximately 175m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2018 for 1 night (works between 20:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (ZP012TRI/X373/001 - GTC). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to undertake an installation of a new gas main is undertaken by GTC.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Heath Road, Cansey Lane, Steam Mill Road, Clacton Road, New Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 20th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
