Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U91223 Market Hall Street, Kington, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U91223 Market Hall Street outside No 8 OS Grid Ref: 329856 / 256636. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Bridge Street onto Duke Street onto Market Hall Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new gas connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th April 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
