Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U93627 West Street, Leominster, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U93627 West Street between no 28 and Foundary Place OS Grid Ref: 349527 / 258992. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Rainbow Street onto Burgess Street onto High Street onto West Street. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new domestic gas connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th April 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
