Argyll and Bute Council DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE
(Sinclair Street, West Montrose Street, Victoria Road, East Munro Drive/
Maclachlan Road, Helensburgh) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2018
Argyll and Bute Council proposes to make a traffic regulation order to introduce
a prohibition of waiting at the junctions of Sinclair Street/West Montrose Street,
Sinclair Street/Victoria Road, and Sinclair Street/East Munro Drive (leading to
MacLachlan Road), Helensburgh. The opportunity to load and unload on these
sections of road will continue. The proposed restrictions aim to address road safety
concerns caused by inconsiderate parking at these junctions.
Full details together with plans and a statement of reasons for proposing to make
the traffic regulation order can be inspected by logging on to the Council’s website
at www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/trafficorders or viewed during normal office hours at:-
(i) Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre, East Clyde Street, Helensburgh;
(ii) Argyll and Bute Council Offices, Kilmory, Lochgilphead.
Any person wishing to object to the proposals should send details of the grounds for
objection in writing providing their name and address, to the Head of Governance
and Law, Argyll and Bute Council, Kilmory, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8RT or by
emailing TRO-Objections@argyll-bute.gov.uk, by Friday the 4th May 2018. Letters
of objection will be replied to after the closing date of the period for objections.
