(Greenstead Green Road,

Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Greenstead Green Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 525m southwest of its junction with Priors Green for a distance of approximately 70m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000010484355 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Back Lane, The Street, Rectory Road, Madgements Road, Priors Green, Tumblers Green and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 13th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
