Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the C1280 Aston Crews Village Road,
Aston Crews, Temporary Closure Order 2018
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the
following road: C1280 Aston Crews Village Road
between the junction with U70243 Warren Lane and
the junction with the B4222 OS Grid Ref: 367134 /
223292. The alternative route for those affected by
the proposal is via the U70243 Warren Lane onto the
B4224 onto the A40 onto the B4222 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation
of a new water service connection and the likelihood
of danger to the public while the works are taking
place. The said closure will come into force on 9th
April 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum
period of 18 months, (unless extended with the
consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are
expected to be completed within 3 days. Any queries
