Notice of Making NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the C1308 Bye Street, Ledbury,
Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily
prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road:
C1308 Bye Street from driving eastbound between
the entrance to St Katherines Car Park to the
junction of the A438 The Homend. OS Grid
Ref: 371067 / 237728. The alternative route for
those affected by the proposal is via the A417
Leadon Way bypass onto the B4216 New Street
onto the A438 High Street.
The said closure is required due to the erection of
a full scaffold to Nº 2 and the likelihood of danger
to the public while the works are taking place. The
said closure will come into force on 8th April 2018
and may remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months, (unless extended with the consent of
the Secretary of State), but the works are expected
to be completed within 3 weeks. Any queries in
