TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES (SPEED CUSHIONS) - PARK LANE N9

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield ("the Council") propose under Sections 90A to 901 of the Highways Act 1980 to introduce speed cushions which would be constructed two-abreast and of no more than 65 millimetres in height at the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
2. A copy of the map indicating the locations and effects of the proposed traffic calming measures and any other relevant documents can be inspected at the Reception Desk, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Note: Should you wish to discuss the proposals in more detail with a Council officer, please ring the above-mentioned telephone number to arrange a mutually convenient time.
3. Any person desiring to object or make any other representations in respect of the proposals should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection stating the grounds thereof, to the Head of Traffic and Transportation, the Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD, quoting the reference TG52/1379, by 11 April 2018, by e-mail to traffic@enfield.gov.uk.
4. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may, upon written request, be made available to the press or to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

(a) from a point 6 metres east of the western wall of No. 4 Park Lane eastward for a distance of 3.6 metres;
(b) from a point 5 metres east of the western wall of No. 24 Park Lane eastward for a distance of 3.6 metres;
(c) from a point 16 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Sweet Briar Green eastward for a distance of 3.6 metres;
(d) from a point 11 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Sweet Briar Walk eastward for a distance of 3.6 metres.
