DISTRICT COUNCIL (A650 HARD INGS
ROAD IMPROVEMENT, KEIGHLEY)
(SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2017
THE SECRETARY OF STATE for Transport
hereby gives notice that on 15 February 2018, he
has confirmed, with a modification, the above
Order which was made by the City of Bradford
Metropolitan District Council under sections 14
and 125 of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as
confirmed, authorises the Council to –
(a) improve highways (including raising, lowering
or otherwise altering);
(b) stop up private means of access to premises; and
(c) provide new means of access to said premises
all on or in the vicinity of the route of the classified
road known as the A650 Hard Ings Road, Keighley
which the Council are proposing to improve from
its junction with the A629 Beechcliffe Roundabout,
generally eastwards to a point 75 metres west of its
junction with the Bradford Road Roundabout.
COPIES of the above-mentioned Order and of
the relevant plan referred to therein have been
deposited and may be seen at all reasonable hours,
free of charge, at the offices of The City of Bradford
Metropolitan District Council, City Hall, Centenary
Square, Bradford BD1 1HY, at Keighley Town Hall,
Bow Street, Keighley BD21 3PA and at Keighley
Library, North Street, Keighley BD21 3SX.
ANY PERSON aggrieved by or desiring to
question the validity of any provision within the
Order on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the above Act or that any requirement
or regulation made has not been complied with,
may, within 6 weeks of 15 March 2018, apply to
the High Court for the suspension or quashing of
the Order or of any provision included.
