Worcester (B4190 Habberley Road, Bewdley) (Restricted Roads) (No. 6) Order
1995 (Revocation), (Various Roads, Bewdley) (Restricted Roads, 40 mph Speed
Limit and De-Restriction) Order 2001 (Revocation), (Various Roads, Bewdley)
(Restricted Roads, 40mph Speed Limit and De-Restriction) Order 2001
(Variation) and (B4190 East of Bewdley) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2013
(Revocation) and (Various Roads, Bewdley) (30mph, 40mph and 50mph Speed
Limit) Order 2018
On 22 March 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect
of which is to regularise the speed limits marked on the ground by removing
discrepancies with the existing Order. Speed limits will continue to apply to the
following lengths of roads in Bewdley:-
30 mph:-
B4190 Habberley Road from a point 155 metres north east of its junction with
Trimpley Lane for a distance of 39 metres in a north easterly direction. B4194 Dowles
Road from a point opposite its junction with Woodthorpe Drive to a point 272 metres
south east of its junction with footpath number BW-533. B4194 Red Hill from its
junction with C2195 Heightington Road for a distance of 102 metres in a south easterly
direction. C2195 Heightington Road from its junction with B4194 Red Hill for
a distance of 125 metres in a westerly direction. UC13010 Grey Green Lane from
a point 110 metres west of its junction with UC10324 Gloucester Way to a point
53 metres north of its junction with footpath number BW-548. UC10200 Tanners
Hill from its junction with UC10201 Hop Pole Lane to a point 58 metres west of its
junction with footpath number BW-515. UC10201 Hop Pole Lane from its junction
with UC10200 Tanners Hill in a generally northerly direction to its junction with
UC10202 Dry Mill Lane. UC10202 Dry Mill Lane from a point 92 metres north of its
junction with UC10210 Hop Pole Lane in a south westerly direction to a point
47 metres north west of its junction with UC10215 The Lakes Road.
40 mph:-
B4190 – Habberley Road from a point 194 metres north east of its junction with
Trimpley Lane to a point 420 metres south west of its junction with footpath BW-533
(Habberley Valley).
50 mph:-
B4190 Habberley Road from a point 420 metres south west of its junction with
footpath BW-533 (Habberley Valley) to a point 148 metres south west of its junction
with UC12207 Canterbury Road.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 12 April 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
and any affected existing Order may be inspected at Wyre Forest District Council,
Customer Service Centre, Town Hall, Vicar Street, Kidderminster, DY10 1DB, and
County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
(C2016 Kingsford Lane, Wolverley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2016 Kingsford Lane, Wolverley from
its junction with Castle Hill Lane for a distance of 420 metres in a southerly direction
in order to facilitate WCC maintenance works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2016 Kingsford Lane, C2016 Drakelow Lane, C2019 Wolverley
Village, B4189 Wolverley Road, B4189 Shatterford Lane, A442 Bridgnorth Road, C2130
Shatterford to Beacon Lane, C2130 Beacon Lane, Sheep wash Lane, Bird’s Barn Lane,
C2016 Kingsford Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day (within a 2 week period)
Commencing: 30 April 2018.
(C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster from
its junction with New Road to its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Road in order
to facilitate repairs to railings by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2013 Caunsall Road, C2031 Bridge Road, C2283 Castle Road,
A449 Wolverhampton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days: Commencing:
9 April 2018.
