GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL EXPANSION OF MICKLETON PRIMARY SCHOOL
Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the
Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Gloucestershire
County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to
Mickleton Primary School, Broadmarston Lane, Mickleton,
Gloucestershire GL55 6SJ from 1 September 2018.
The proposal seeks approval to permanently increase the
Reception intake at Mickleton Primary School from 15
places to 25 places with effect from September 2018.
The current capacity of the school is 105 and the proposed
capacity will be 175. The current number of pupils
registered at the school is 141. The current admission
number for the school is 15 and the proposed admission
number will be 25.

Explanatory Notes
1.The expansion is required to accommodate the forecast
demand for primary school places arising as a result of
housing development adjacent to the school.
2. The school will be remodelled and extended to accommodate
the additional pupils as they move through the school.
