Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire
Council, as highway authority, intend, under
its relevant powers, to make the U93627 West Street, Leominster Temporary Closure Order
2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles
between no 28 and Foundry Place OS Grid Ref:
349527 / 258992. The alternative route for those
affected by the proposal is via Rainbow Street
onto Burgess Street onto High Street onto West
Street.
The said closure is required due to the installation
of a new domestic gas connection and the
likelihood of danger to the public while the works
are taking place. The said closure will come into
force on 16th April 2018 and may remain in
force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless
extended with the consent of the Secretary
of State), but the works are expected to be
completed within 3 days. Any queries in relation
