Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have
made the C1120 from the A49 to Old School House, Moreton-on-Lugg, Temporary Closure Order 2018
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the
following road: C1120 from the A49 to Old School
House at the level crossing for 200m OS Grid Ref:
351226 / 245858. The alternative route for those
affected by the proposal is via the C1126 to Sutton
St Nicholas, onto the C1125, onto the A4103
via Holmer onto the A49, onto the C1120 at
Moreton-on-Lugg and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to
provide routine maintenance to the level crossing and
the likelihood of danger to the public while the works
are taking place. The said closure will come into force
on 14th April 2018 and may remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with
the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works
are expected to be completed within 1 night. Any
