Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the C1262 White House Farm to
Cherry Orchard Lane, How Caple, Temporary
Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use
by vehicles on the following road: C1262 White House
Farm to Cherry Orchard Lane outside Rock Cottage
OS Grid Ref: 360314 / 230346. The alternative route
for those affected by the proposal is via the C1273
onto the C1272 onto the C1262 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of
a new water connection and the likelihood of danger
to the public while the works are taking place. The
said closure will come into force on 10th April 2018
and may remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the
Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be
