Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the A44 Mill Street, Leominster,
Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily
prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road:
A44 Mill Street approximately 25m either side
of the railway crossing OS Grid Ref: 350014 /
259498. The alternative route for those affected
by the proposal is via the B4361 onto Southern
Avenue onto Leominster Bypass and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to safe access
to carry out routine maintenace to the railway
crossing and the likelihood of danger to the
public while the works are taking place. The said
closure will come into force on 7th April 2018
& 8th July 2018 and may remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended
with the consent of the Secretary of State), but
the works are expected to be completed within
